Call for papers

Gondwana 13 Conference will be held in Dali, Yunnan Province, China. Research in the fields of geology, paleontology, mineral deposits and tectonic history of these and other Gondwanan elements, and related tectonic processes, will form the basis for the theme of the conference.

Technical sessions and publications

Technical sessions, including oral and poster presentations, will run over a period of three days. We hope to limit the number of parallel oral sessions to no more than three, and encourage authors to consider posters, especially if they wish to make more than one presentation. The working language of the meeting will be English.

All abstracts must be submitted electronically via e-mail to the conveners of the sessions. Gondwana Research has decided to launch a supplement issue for all accepted abstracts. The format of abstract must be in that of Gondwana Research and should not exceed 1 printed page.

The deadline for abstract submissions will be 30 May 2008.

The Organising Committee intends to encourage session conveners to have selected papers published in special issues of international journals.
