Instruction for abstract submission

1. Abstracts are required for all oral and poster presentations. More than one abstract per registration is welcome.
2. Abstracts should be sent by E-mail to brzhang@geneics.ac.cn as attached file(s).
3. Abstracts must fulfill the guideline (see below).
4. The scientific committee will review and announce the acceptance of your abstracts by May 5, 2008.
5. Oral presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts by the scientific committee.
6. All abstracts accepted for the symposium will be published as a supplemental issue of “Journal of Genetics and Genomics”. The full length research or review papers will be collected after the symposium and published in a special issue of “Plant and Soil” after peer-review.
7. Only after the registration fee (at least one of the authors) is received, the paper will be accepted.

Guideline for abstract

The abstracts should be written in single-spaced Times New Roman 11pts for contents and 17pts for title in English (not to exceed 800 words in contents within one A4 page) and the following information should be included:

1. Title of session your research field belonging to
2. Title of the abstract (17pts, Times New Roman)
3. Name of Authors (underlined name of the person who will present the poster. 13pts, Times New Roman)
4. Affiliation of the authors, e-mail address of the presenters (8pts, Times New Roman, italic)
5. Text of the abstract and reference (not to exceed 800 words in contents within one A4 page)

Withdrawing an abstract

If you want to withdraw an abstract please contact the conference secretariat by emailing brzhang@genetics.ac.cn or Tel/Fax: +86 10 64854467 at your earliest convenience.

Please note:
Timely registration and payment for the conference are required.

Please submit as many abstracts as possible for a successful symposium.
